Eoseungsaengak

Eoseungsaengak is a volcanic cone explored from the Eorimok area of Hallasan National Park. It forms one of Jeju’s larger volcanic bodies, with a circular crater roughly 250 metres around at the summit.

Traces of military facilities installed by Japanese forces during the colonial period remain near the summit. The designated trail is the appropriate way to encounter this landscape where natural and historical traces overlap.
