Witch’s Hill Jeju

Stay a little longer by the sea.

INTRO

By the Sea

Jeju has no shortage of cafés with an ocean view.

What stays with me at Witch’s Hill is how the sea remains in sight almost wherever you sit.

Through the tall windows, from the rooftop, and again when the light begins to fall.

And here, a visit to the café can continue into an overnight stay.

CAFE & SEA

Witch’s Hill on the Coast

Witch’s Hill sits close to the coast, with the road, the building and the sea almost meeting in one view.

From a little farther away, it becomes easier to see why the ocean defines the place.

WINDOW

Beyond the Tall Windows

Tall windows fill much of the wall.

The angle changes from seat to seat, but the sea rarely disappears from view.

A VIEW TO STAY WITH

Time by the Window

Some seats naturally make you stay longer.

People eat, talk, or simply sit facing the water.

BRUNCH

Breakfast by the Sea

The sea remains in the background even when breakfast arrives.

Rather than listing every dish, this is the part I remember: a late breakfast, a drink, and the water just beyond the window.

AT THE TABLE

Brunch Buffet

The brunch buffet brings a different sense of the place from a still photograph of the food.

How it operates may change, so it is worth checking the latest information before visiting.

ROOFTOP

One Floor Higher

Up on the rooftop, the horizon opens a little wider.

On a clear day, this is often where I end up staying longer.

ALONG THE ROUTE

Along Olle Trail 8

Witch’s Hill sits within the same stretch of Seogwipo’s southern coast that I recorded while walking Olle Trail 8.

When I want to stop for a while and keep looking at the sea, this is one of the places that comes to mind.

SUNSET

When the Light Begins to Fall

The blue of the daytime sea changes completely toward evening.

It is one of my favorite times to be here.

CAFE → STAY

If the Day Does Not End Here

At Witch’s Hill, time at the café can continue into an overnight stay.

Watch the sea, stay through the evening, and wake up to the same coastline the next morning.

STAY

Staying by the Sea

The outdoor spaces beside the café take on a different character in daylight and after dark.

Time at the same place begins to stretch naturally.

THE SAME SEA

The Same Sea

At the stay, the sea remains at the center of the space.

Each terrace and window meets it from a slightly different angle.

ROOM DETAILS

Patio and Bathtub by the Sea

Depending on the room, the sea appears in different ways.

The patio and bathtub in these photographed rooms offer two such views.
